Zara Checked Soft Scarf Look-a-Like

This Zara Checked soft scarf in green and navy (and other beautiful colors) has been sold out everywhere and is an outrageous price on Ebay ($100+, I mean it is pretty perfect, but I am also a college student and it's mostly acrylic so I cannot sadface) so I've been on the hunt for an affordable look-a-alike.

And lo' and behold, I found the perfect one.

I am an incredibly picky person so to find one Zara one is difficult to say the least. I looked through pages and pages of plaid scarves, checked scarves, green scarves all the while kicking myself for not keeping up with Zara's sales before it was too late. D:

BUT I FOUND IT. Let this day be known as the day I made my first Etsy purchase. This scarf is from Acacia Scarves, run by Jaclyn Day who has a lovely blog on affordable fashion and lifestyle things.

I had this scarf chosen for a while, but they restock only a few pieces at a time and sell out super fast. These scarves are handmade out of woven tartan flannel fabric which will be so warm for this perpetual midwest winter (late February and it's considered a nice day if the temperatures are above 20F). The scarf dimensions are 70 in by 40 in which is comparable to the Zara scarf with is 140 cm by 140 cm so roughly 55 in by 55 in.

The best part of of this scarf is that it is 100% cotton. Ahh I'm so excited to get this in the mail. Hopefully it will arrive after my three midterms next week. It'll be like a personal present.
